Conclusion

The Inno3D iChill GTX 780 Ti DHS HerculeZ X3 Ultra is a blisteringly fast graphics card that's well constructed, cool and relatively quiet. You also get a more generous bundle than usual on top of the free copy of Watch Dogs, though of course this is unlikely to do much to lower the impact of paying £600 (£560 if you take advantage of OCUK's offer at the time of writing). It also looks pretty decent thanks to the metal trim on the cooler shroud and the backplate, and we especially like the LED-lit logo too.

Even so, we still feel like there's something missing, namely the power circuitry. It can make a difference to overclocking, especially with GPUs that are specifically selected for high performance such as the ones Inno3D is using. The 6+2 phase power design isn't bad of course, but it's still a shame to see stock components used on a £600 card. Upgrades in this area would also have reduced the risk of the coil whine we experienced. The triple slot design also irks us, though admittedly the massive HerculeZ X3 cooler runs cooler and quieter than other designs we've seen.

A £600 graphics card is always difficult to outright recommend, but despite our reservations outlined above you're unlikely to be disappointed if you actually did invest in the Inno3D iChill GTX 780 Ti DHS Ultra. It's incredibly fast, cool, quiet and pretty good looking when installed too. If you're in the fortunate position of being able to afford one and are happy to accommodate the size of it, you'll have a slick bit of hardware on your hands.
